James Thomley
James Thomley is a soloist and chamber musician currently based in Washington DC. Formerly with the United States Marine Band, "The President's Own", he performed at the White House, and as soloist in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and across the country during the band's annual concert tour. Prior to joining the Marine Band, he was a member of the United States Army Field Band in Washington, DC.
Thomley began his musical career at the age of 11. Upon graduating from Tomball (TX) High School in 1993, he attended the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, where he studied with Dr. John Scott.
